2-Player Obby
This project was the fourth out of four projects that I have worked on for the ragdoll game by Bogged Group. This update was the longest and hardest out of them all, this is because what we had to do for this update was basically create a whole new game core mechanic from the ground up and implement it with already existing mechanics.
The update revolved around 2 players needing to work together to complete the stages of this new world.
As seen in the image, the top half shows the bridge inactive, this is because there is no player standing on the button. In the image below, because the player is standing on the bridge, it is now activated, allowing another player to cross the bridge, then vise versa using the button on the other side
With this stage, it is the same as the first image show, the difference is that the button deactivates the wall rather then activating.
This allows a player to go through to the other side, then press the button there to deactivate the wall, thuss allowing the first play to follow.
With this stage, the way the buttons work is a little different, the color of the button corresponds to the color of the bridge.
meaning player one must press the red button first to allow player two through first then press the blue button to allow them to continue going through to the end.
This stage changes the game again, Player one will go up to the top of the stage whole Player Two will go into the stage. Player One will press buttons on top that will either enable or disable the parts below for Player Two to go through. Then at the end, Player Two will press a button to allow Player One to come down from the top to continue through the world.
This stage is similar to the previous, but in a maze type design
In this stage, Player One will go up and press the buttons that will stop the giant pushers from constantly going back and forth, allowing Player Two to pass through.
The above two stages are very simple. In the first image, Player One will shoot themselves out of the cannon, then press a button allowing Player Two to go down the ramp. In the second image, Player One activates the slide, while Player Two goes down!
